Word count
I've got 34,500ish words. And stumped. I wrote 2,500 words within two days and then the words stopped coming. I have to write 7,500 more words before I can have a margarita and read my new books. Onward!
Do brainstorming exercises. Write a word, then circle it and write random words that you associate with the main word. But the trick is that you have to do it from you characters perspective, not your own. When you see a trend, circle all of those words and it might help unlock some doors. Let me know if it works!
